My trip to Puerto Rico with Travel Impactful was more than eye-opening, it was transformational. I returned home with a new appreciation of the Puerto Rican people, their culture, their history, and the plight of the island’s magnificent tropical forests. We spent time with environmental scientists and activists who have committed their lives to protecting the vanishing rainforest. We also planted rare trees, relaxed around the campfire, enjoyed fabulous meals, and explored the nightlife together back in San Jan. I haven’t experienced the same degree of group bonding and light-hearted fun since college. Travel Impactful is unique that it offers so much more than recreation and sightseeing, it provides curated, meaningful experiences, giving travelers an opportunity to make new friends with like-minded people.

Candice at Travel Impactful works near my office and is always telling me wonderful stories about her visits to Puerto Rico. My wife and I decided that we needed to do this and soon! The Travel Impactful team were able to put together a wonderful array of things to do in Puerto Rico and also introduced me to the idea of being a Flight Angel. It felt great to know I played a part in giving these adorable kittens a healthy, loving home.

It was great and I had a really good time! It wasn’t really any work at all and I would love to do it again. We got to meet some really great people and had fun planting the trees and learning about the vegetation from 3t. There was great food, drinks and conversations.
